We process personal data exclusively to fulfill legal obligations (Art. 6 (1) lit. c) GDPR) or when necessary for the protection of our legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) lit. f) GDPR). Furthermore, we process your personal data based on your explicit consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. a) GDPR). After completing the contract, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after the retention periods required by tax and commercial law.

4. Collection, Processing, and Use of Personal Data

4.1 Website Visit

You can visit our Website without providing any personal information. We only store access data without personal references, such as the name of your internet service provider, the page from which you visit us, or the name of the requested file. Additionally, the IP address used to access the Website is stored for security reasons to detect and block fraudulent activities. These data are used solely for statistical purposes and to improve our offering and are deleted after 30 days. The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) S. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest arises from the purposes listed above.

4.2 Newsletter Subscription

If you have expressly consented (Art. 6 (1) S. 1 lit. a GDPR), we use your email address to send you our newsletter regularly. For the newsletter subscription, we only collect and store your email address. Providing your first and last name is optional and allows us to address you personally in the newsletter. You agree that these communications may contain advertising content. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link provided in the newsletter or by sending an email to datenschutz@natucate.de. The newsletters are sent via "MailChimp," a US-based platform by Rocket Science Group, LLC.

4.3 Contact Form

For inquiries, you can contact us through a form provided by Typeform. The following personal data are required to respond to your request: first and last name, and email address. Typeform is used to capture and transmit data via forms, and its use is based on our legitimate interest in an attractive presentation of our online offers (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR). Our Website only uses technically necessary cookies.

6. Use of Tracking Tools

Matomo Tracking

This Website uses Matomo Tracking (formerly PIWIK), an open-source web analytics platform, to safeguard our legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR). Matomo helps us collect and analyze data about website usage. Data is processed in a way that does not allow us to draw conclusions about your identity. We have configured Matomo to not store cookies in your browser.

7. Social Media

Natucate GmbH operates online presences within social networks and platforms to communicate with active customers and users and inform them about our services. Data processing outside the European Union can pose risks, such as difficulty enforcing user rights. We point out that users' data is usually processed for market research and advertising purposes.

7.1 LinkedIn Marketing Services

We use LinkedIn's marketing services to display targeted advertisements. This includes "remarketing" and "conversion measurement." Data is processed pseudonymously, meaning LinkedIn does not store or process users' names or email addresses but cookie-related data.

8. YouTube

We embed videos from YouTube on our Website to maintain our legitimate interest in an attractive website design (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR). YouTube is operated by YouTube LLC, a subsidiary of Google Inc.

9. Mapbox

We use Mapbox Tiles on some subpages for interactive map displays. Information such as your IP address may be transferred to Mapbox in the USA. For more details on how Mapbox handles data, refer to their privacy policy.

10. Data Security and Encryption

Conscious Explorer protects customer data by storing it on password-protected and firewall-secured servers and encrypting data transmissions using SSL technology. However, absolute data security on the internet cannot be guaranteed. We recommend taking precautions to protect your personal data.
