Arrival and orientation

Upon arriving in Maun, Botswana, a staff member will escort you to the base camp in the Okavango Delta. Here, you’ll familiarize yourself with the camp, meet fellow participants, and prepare for your wilderness adventure. This orientation will set the stage for your immersion into the wild and provide an overview of what to expect during your course.

Accommodation and board at the Track and Trails Adventure

During the Tracking course, you’ll stay in a simple camp within the Kwapa region, equipped with basic facilities and tents. For the Trailing course, you’ll use a lightweight, 2-person tent, moving camps every few nights to fully embrace the wilderness experience. Meals are simple but plentiful, with three to four meals a day and access to drinking water, tea, and coffee.

Leisure time during the course

Evenings are your chance to relax and enjoy the natural surroundings. Engage in personal activities such as reading or socializing with fellow participants, or simply absorb the serene beauty of the Delta’s landscape.
