Topics and activities of the Tracking Online Course

As part of this online Tracking Enthusiast course, EcoTraining takes you on a journey of discovery that started 190,000 years ago – when ancient hunter-gatherers tracked animals to find food.

Learners are shown how to identify tracks and interpret animals’ gaits and behaviour, including important signs to be aware of while tracking potentially dangerous animals on foot. For bush lovers, the knowledge of animal tracks unlocks a dimension of a nature experience that few people know about. Anyone can learn animal tracks, and we can make it your obsession!
