What unique features are incorporated in the Orion Treehouses?

The treehouses were built without touching or cutting a single tree, preserving the natural red cedar essence without paint or varnish. Nestled in the woods under a lush canopy of oak trees, they enjoy natural air conditioning provided by the surrounding foliage.

At the heart of Orion lies our Ecological Swimming Pool, the centerpiece that fosters a harmonious little ecosystem. Once praised by The Guardian as “like swimming in Evian,” this pool offers a refreshing, chemical-free experience—no red eyes or itchy skin to worry about.

The pool's purity is maintained through a natural filtration system of plants, stones, gravel, and sand, with oxygenation provided by a gentle waterfall and a bubbling fountain. We cherish this self-sustaining system deeply.

From the chorus of frogs in early spring to the appearance of tadpoles and the delicate dances of dragonflies in the summer, the pool is a living spectacle. Encircled by our treehouses, the pool is the heartbeat of Orion. Whether you enjoy a morning coffee, an afternoon apéro, or dinner with fellow guests.

What activities are being offered at the Orion Treehouses

Some guests love to simply stay at Orion, relaxing around the pool, taking refreshing swims, reading, and leisurely mingling with others. For those seeking cultural enrichment, Saint-Paul de Vence and the surrounding region offer a wealth of activities, from the artistic hubs of Mougins and Cannes to the vibrant cities of Nice, Monaco, and even nearby Italy.

If you prefer to explore, the picturesque hills and charming villages of the hinterland await, along with stunning sea views and scenic walks around the peninsulas of Cap d’Antibes and Cap Saint-Jean Ferrat. And, of course, the Mediterranean Sea beckons with its famous Îles de Lérins, accessible by ferry, and the coastal gems of Cannes, Antibes, Nice, and Monaco. With so much to see and do, you’ll find yourself longing to return to experience it all.

A week in paradise

What a place! Right from arrival, Diane was a wonderful host, welcoming us with a hamper of lovely (and very useful after along drive) groceries and wine. The treehouses themselves (we had two connected by a bridge) are pretty amazing. They’re clean, well appointed and surprisingly luxurious. Not to mention, achingly romantic.

Our best days were the ones when we didn’t leave. It really is an oasis of calm and the pool is exceptional.I would recommend Orion wholeheartedly!

Beautiful place to relax

We had a wonderful time at Orion this August. It is such a unique place to stay and the photos really don't do it justice. The accommodation is really well thought out and is much more luxurious than I was expecting. I had been concerned that it would be uncomfortably hot, but being in the shelter of the trees meant that the treehouse was lovely and cool in the evenings and we slept very well indeed in the lovely, comfy bed.
