Step into the realm of marine conservation with our unique volunteering project nestled in the heart of the Maldives. Picture yourself living aboard a research vessel, venturing out into the vast Indian Ocean for 11 days of dedicated species conservation work.

Here, amidst the untouched beauty of the South Ari Atoll, you'll find yourself among a diverse group of volunteers and conservationists from across the globe, all united by a shared passion for protecting the ocean's wonders. Your mission? To safeguard the magnificent whale sharks, the gentle giants of the sea, while also witnessing the splendor of numerous other marine animals.

As you swim alongside these awe-inspiring creatures, you'll witness firsthand their grace and beauty, understanding the crucial role they play in our ecosystem. Despite their colossal size – reaching up to 18 meters and weighing up to 30 tons – whale sharks pose no threat to humans, as they feed exclusively on plankton. However, human activity remains their greatest peril.

Join us on this journey of discovery and conservation, where every effort counts in preserving the fragile balance of marine life in the Maldives.
